Indiana Workers Compensation Board

The Indiana Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) has adopted the following Mission Statement: To provide efficient dispute resolution for injured workers and employers by administering both formal adjudication and informal dispute resolution services; to serve the public by answering inquiries regarding the Indiana Workers' Compensation system; and to collect statistical information regarding workplace injuries in Indiana.

The mission adopted by the Indiana Workers' Compensation Institute (IWCI) is to promote and conduct programs of general education in worker's compensation and related areas, assist members in improving their skills so that they continue to be an asset to their employer and provide financial support for charitable organizations and educational institutions that benefit the area of worker's compensation.

IPEP is an Indiana not-for-profit corporation organized in December 1989. Its purpose is to operate a self-funded group program for the purpose of satisfying the obligations of the members under the Indiana Workers' Compensation Act, the Indiana Workers' Occupational Diseases Act and the Indiana Employers' Liability Act. Membership in IPEP is limited to political subdivisions and governmental entities of the State of Indiana.
