"The Town of New Whiteland is the grateful recipient of the 2019 IPEP Safety Grant. With these funds we were able to purchase a variety of safety equipment including LED strobe lights for 1 of the public works vehicles and 3 ZTR mowers, various signage and barricades that will assist in protecting our workers when they are mowing, doing street work or sewer line repairs. Having our employees and the equipment they are using more visible will certainly reduce the risk of injury as they are performing their daily duties. We want to thank IPEP for these funds and we will continue to apply for these monies as this is a great opportunity to update and replace old and outdated equipment."
