Anthem is updating their system platform. With this update, you should have received a new Anthem ID card in the mail. This card has your new group number and possibly a new member ID number. This card must be used beginning January 1, 2020. If you try to use your 2019 ID card in 2020, your coverage will show termed. This may result in services being denied and claim processing being delayed. Please remember to share your new ID card with your providers at the time of service.
